On Line Design Supports Zero Carbon Humber Project

On Line Design & Engineering are proud to share our support for Zero Carbon Humber Project along with other leading companies in the Humber region. The project will potentially shape and change our future for the benefit of the environment, jobs, investment and growth.

As a group of regional companies, we all call for the government to back its proposal for its application into phase 2 of the ISCF Decarbonisation of Industrial Clusters Programme. In the letter to Energy Minister Kwasi Kwarteng, the Zero Carbon Humber Partnership have called on the Government to back their major funding bid for the ground-breaking project. The letter is accompanied by over 50 formal letters of support from non-partner organisations who recognise the proposals unique offering and unrivalled benefits for the environment and the economy. If successful, the bid would unlock a potentially multi-billion-pound project which could transform the region whilst reducing the UK’s annual emissions by 15%.

On Line Design recognise the importance of reducing our impact on the environment, decarbonisation of the Humber Industrial cluster is an important step in the UK working towards its transition to NetZero. On Line Design employ and develop all the transferable skills inhouse to support this emerging need for industry.

Students gain valuable work experience at CATCH

On Line Group are proud to have sponsored the recent ‘Introduction to Industry Skills’ course that was organised and run by CATCH.

The 2-day event enabled students to gain an insight into engineering practices together with hands-on work experience.

Amongst the students that attended the course was 17 year old George Lingard who is currently studying A levels in Maths, Physics and Geography at Caistor Grammar School. He said, “In the future I hope to become an engineer, potentially within the civil or structural side so I found the course to be very informative, and full of different activities.”

15 year old Georgia Green who is studying for her GCSE’s at Hull Collegiate School also attended the course. She said, “It was such an amazing experience and opportunity which I thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend it to anybody who would like to know more about the Industry. Thank you to CATCH and On Line Group for the opportunity.”
