On Line Group are delighted to have raised in excess of £280 by joining in this years Cupcake Day in support of our chosen charity this year, Alzheimer’s Society.

All On Line Groups offices participated in the event which was held on Thursday 13th June.

£150 could pay for two people with dementia to attend ‘Singing for the Brain’ sessions for one year, where they and their carers can come together for an hour each week to sing and dance with music, and £610 would pay for a Doctoral Training Centre to run for one day, helping up to eight PhD researchers to carry out ground breaking study in dementia research.

HR Director, Lou Arnett said, “Thank you to everyone who baked and donated cakes for Cupcake Day. The money raised will help fund pioneering research and care for the Alzheimer’s Society.”

On Line Group are delighted to take part in this years Cupcake Day on Thursday 13th June in support of our chosen charity for the year, Alzheimer’s Society.

In the average time it takes to bake a batch of cakes, six people in the UK will develop dementia. It is now the leading cause of death in England and Wales, overtaking both cancer and heart disease.

Your Cupcake Day can help to fund pioneering research, crucial support services and vital care. By hosting your day, you are uniting with us in the fight against the UK’s biggest killer.

Until the day we find a cure, because of Cupcakers like you, Alzheimer's Society can continue to be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through.

Cupcake Day has raised £2.7 million since 2016 – let’s make this year our biggest yet!

On Line Group would like our collegues to join in and please bring in all your cake donations to On Line House, On Loan House, Grimsby Workshops or the Hull Office on Thursday 13th June.

Cakes will be available in the kitchen along with a donation box - all donations helps fund pioneering research, crucial support services and pioneering care for the Alzheimer’s Society.
