Anglia Engineering Solutions gain two new quality certifications.
Anglia Engineering Solutions attain certification to BS EN 1090for CE Marking of Steel structures and BS EN 3834 for welding quality requirements.
Anglia Engineering Solutions (AES) are pleased to announce that they have recently gained accreditation to BS EN 1090-1:2011 for CE Marking of Structural Steelwork and BS EN ISO 3834-2:2005 for Welding Quality Requirements.
AES have undergone a series of extensive audits by TUV NORD during recent months to ensure that they are complying with all the necessary procedures and processes to meet the Construction Product Regulation (CPR) to comply with BS EN 1090-1:2011.
At the same time TUV NORD have certified AES’s welding management systems to BS EN ISO 3834-2:2005. Matt Bickley, AES’s HSEQA compliance officer said that “with CE marking of steelwork having become a legal requirement within the UK, it was important AES attained these accreditation’s.” He also said “BS EN ISO 3834 is only held by a small number of companies gaining BS ISO EN 1090 and this enables us to provide a greater quality service to our Clients.”
AES Managing Director Gary Carlton stated “This Certification allows us to design, manufacture, weld and install structures up to execution class 2 which falls in line with our core business activities, and the fact that we have gained these two important accreditations is testament to the hard work of all our employees.”
AES provide steelwork, pipework, fabrication, coded welding and machining services as well as a design and drawing capability from their base on Estate Road No 2 on the South Humberside Industrial Estate and are part of the On Line Group.

Top Safety Accreditation for Anglia Engineering Solutions
Local business Anglia Engineering Solutions has again been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.
Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies.
Currently employing 71 people, Anglia Engineering Solutions principally involved in the Mechanical Engineering sector, specialising in the petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Anglia Engineering Solutions most recent clients have included major players such as Croda, Synthomer, P66, Youngs, FiveStar and Star Refrigeration.
The company’s continued application for SafeContractor accreditation is driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. SafeContractor accreditation enhance’s the company’s ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
